It is difficult to reveal your true self. We decorate ourselves consciously of the gaze of others, and we often lose ourselves in the end. We often judge and interpret only by looking at what we see on the outside. Then even yourself becomes suspicious, and you hide your true self under the expectations and pressures of others or the environment.

The child, who is like a herbivore in the painting, symbolizes the journey to find the self. Children are immature, but they are showing the process of finding true happiness, and they critically capture us decorating ourselves by paying attention to people’s eyes.

We live in a world where we cannot know each other’s hidden feelings and are easy to judge by their appearance. When I live under these social pressures by deceiving myself, I wonder if I am really a good person or am I doing well.

The children in the work are like herbivores who wait while looking at their faces to live. Like frightened children, they reflect on themselves who have become me, not me. However, these children try to find themselves, and they are going through the process of accepting and being happy for who they are, even though they are immature.
